Wagyu Beef Burger with Aioli and Beetroot Relish

PREP TIME: 20 minutes

Wagyu beef mince 200 g

medium brown onion, sliced 60 g

beetroot slices 2

tomato slices 2

small handful mixed lettuce leaves

ground sea salt flakes

freshly ground pepper

brioche bun 1

Beetroot Relish 1 heaped tbsp

Method

  1. Preheat a barbecue or grill to high.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and shape into a burger patty. Grill on both sides to your liking. Cook onions while grilling burger patty.
  3. Cut brioche bun in half and toast lightly on barbecue or grill.
  4. Build burger by layering with mixed lettuce, Birch & Waite Aioli Garlic Mayonnaise, beetroot slices, tomato slices, grilled onion & Wagyu patty. Finish with generous serve of Birch & Waite Beetroot Relish on top.
