Creamy Hummus with Birch & Waite Golden Goddess Dressing & Sauce

Prep time:

Cans Chickpeas, Drained (See Note)400g 2
Baking Soda1/2 tsp
Tahini1/4 cup
Garlic, To Taste3 cloves
Cumin2 tsp
Olive Oil (Optional)
Salt & Pepper (Optional)
Pomegranate Arils, Roasted
Chickpeas, Sugar Snap Peas, Baby
Cucumbers, Edible Flowers, Cherry
Tomatoes, Rainbow Beetroot, Pine
Nuts, Dukkah
Golden Goddess Dressing & Sauce1/4 - 1/2 cup


  1. Optional: Bring medium pot of water to boil. Add chickpeas and baking soda. Simmer for 20 minutes or until chickpeas are very soft and falling apart.
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas well. Add chickpeas and baking soda, tahini, garlic, cumin and Birch & Waite Golden Goddess Dressing & Sauce to high-powered blender. Blend until as smooth as possible. Add extra Birch & Waite Golden Goddess Dressing & Sauce, olive oil or iced water to thin out the hummus, as desired. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Scoop the hummus into a serving dish. Decorate with desired toppings and serve!

Note: you can use dried chickpeas if you soak them in water the night before and cook them until they’re extremely soft.
